The archives, whose concise guide is consultable in this site, have been acquired from 1983 up to now and have been inventoried thanks to a ministerial contribution of the Division for the studies and Publications of the central office for the archival patrimony.

The researcher will find the previous reference work in the volume Guida agli archivi della Resistenza, edited by Commissione Archivi-Biblioteca dell'Insmli, Roma, Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali, Pubblicazioni degli Archivi di Stato, 1983, even if some archives described there have been inventoried here ex novo.

The documents are kept in the historical archives of Istituto nazionale per la storia del movimento di liberazione in Italia (Insmli), and in the archives of  the Institutes that are linked and associated to it and in the archives of some Institutions that, because of the similarity of their archival records, have made their data consultable in this same Opac.
